I am an English landscape artist working predominantly in oils.

In my work I often take a slightly surreal approach. I am interested in the form and pattern in landscapes and like to work towards a dreamlike quality in the final image. My paintings come from memories of the rolling patchwork and woodland landscape of England and, in sharp contrast, the sun-baked mountains and vineyards of the Mediterranean where I have my studio.
