thoughts of home
These paintings are woven from dreams and memories, a nostalgia for the simplicity of childhood. Living, as I did, in a sun-scorched corner of France, between rugged mountains and the shimmering Mediterranean, my thoughts often drifted back to England—the soft, rolling downs of home. They reflect a bittersweet pull between two worlds: one defined by intense sunlight, the other by the misty embrace of a familiar past.
